Cancellation & Refunds
This page describes our general approach to cancellations. The specific cancellation terms that apply to your trip will always be confirmed in writing alongside your quotation, since they can vary by season, supplier and how far ahead you cancel.
This page is a structurally complete draft prepared for clarity, not a finished legal document. Any section marked TODO_BUSINESS_INPUT still needs a real business decision, and we recommend this whole page is reviewed by a Nepal-qualified lawyer before it is relied on for actual bookings.
Cancellations by you
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, tell us as early as possible in writing. Any refund will depend on how much of your payment we can recover from third-party suppliers (hotels, permits, transport, activity operators) who may have their own non-refundable cancellation windows.
TODO_BUSINESS_INPUT: confirm a standard cancellation-fee schedule (e.g. tiers based on days before departure) to publish here as a general default, if one exists — otherwise this stays quotation-specific.
Cancellations or major changes by us
If we need to cancel your trip for reasons within our control, we'll offer a full refund of amounts paid to us, or a rebooking to alternative dates, whichever you prefer.
Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for failing to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest). In such cases we'll work with you in good faith on rescheduling or the fairest possible refund given what we can recover from suppliers.
How refunds are processed
Approved refunds are returned using the same payment method you used to pay us, where possible, within a reasonable processing time.
TODO_BUSINESS_INPUT: confirm a specific refund-processing timeframe (e.g. 'within 14 business days') to state here.
